Cobra Starship fully streaming new album "Night Shades"

Cady Grove's new song "This Little Girl (Murder)"

Cady Grove's has the most unique voice in the world and she uses it in the best way possible, singing. She just recently released her new single "This Little Girl (Murder)" a couple of days ago and it seems like fans are liking her new sound that she's trying to make instead of sticking to the Cady that started on Myspace. Many of her internet releases before she made her full length album "Life of a Pirate" had a special sound to it because of her voice. Just a couple of months ago, Cady released her most recent single "We're the Sh!t" and it definitely was a hit with her fans! There's just something about Cady that I can never hate. She's funny, loud, crazy, pretty, etc. I loved her internet released songs before she debuted her album "Life of a Pirate". For some strange reason, most of the song's I didn't like and I was actually very disappointed. I'm very excited for the new sound that she's trying to make and the most recent couple of songs have been really catchy so I'm looking forward to seeing what she has next for us.

All Time Low announces "Rise and Fall Of My Pants" tour dates

All Time Low is going on tour again after their chart topping album "Dirty Work" hit number 1 for a couple weeks. It seems as if ATL just got off of their headlining tour, The Dirty Work Tour, a couple months ago... but it seems like they still can't get enough! Joining ATL on the "Rise and Fall Of My Pants" tour will be The Ready Set, He is We, and Paradise Fears.

The Ready Set debuts new song "Hollywood Dream"

Today, August 22nd, The Ready Set released his newest song "Hollywood Dream". You can expect this song to be on his new EP, Feel Good Now, available October 11th. Take a listen to "Hollywood Dream" below.

My Input
As you can read in my previous post, I was very curious about how his new song would sound. When I first listened to "Hollywood Dream" I got the goosebumps because I was so surprised it was a little more electronic than acoustic which is what I was expecting from listening to the preview. I rate it a 4.5/5.

My Input
I know that this sounds "hippie" but I used to be beyond OBSESSED with TRS. When he was only on Myspace with not much music out and his voice used to be SUPER auto-tuned. He used to be my absolute favorite artist before his hit song "Love Like Woe" came out in early 2010. After that song hit, I already knew that I wasn't going to like him or the people who always say "OH EM GEE I LOVE THE READY SET" even though they only know that one song by him just because it got popular. It's like "SERIOUSLY?! I'VE LOVED HIS MUSIC WHEN IT WAS STILL ON MYSPACE.  YES MYSPACE. NOT FACEBOOK. MYSPACE." People like that... I HATE. His first full length album wasn't all that good either so I'm scared to see what "Feel Good Now" has in store. From the preview of Hollywood Dream it sounds a little less electronic as his usual music so it's definitely going to be different from his previous work.

Cobra Starship changes release date

Cobra Starship's new album "Night Shades" was originally expected to be released on August 30th, 2011 but they recently announced that they will release their album one day earlier on August 29th, 2011. You can also catch them at the MTV VMA awards on August 28th, 2011 at 8pm.

I was a fan of Cobra Starship's music since their first album "While the City Sleeps, We Rule the Streets" and until "Hot Mess" came out in 2009, I've lost interest in their music because "Hot Mess" didn't have the same sound/feel to it as it did when I first heard their music. After listening to their first single off of their upcoming album "Night Shades", You Make Me Feel..., got me really excited for their new album... but their other singles that they've released after "You Make Me Feel..." haven't been all that good so it has brought down my excitement level... so I'm not completely sure if I'll be pre-ordering it or not. 75% I'll wait for it to leak first.

Millionaires, Jeffree Star, and Blood on the Dance Floor in one song?

YEP! IT'S TRUE! The time has finally come! The Millionaires, Jeffree Star, and Blood on the Dance Floor are finally making a song together. Today, Blood on the Dance Floor (BOTDF) announced on their Twitter account that they will be teaming up with Millionaires and Jeffree Star in September to record their new song.

My Input
I'm not that big of a fan of BOTDF so I'm not too excited about this collaboration :/ BUT they all have such a similar sound so this song should be very exciting! I'm a huge fan of the Millionaires so anything that they are featured in is amazing :) I've always had a love and hate relationship with Jeffree Star's music... Many of his songs I don't understand why he spent the money to record because they are flat out horrible but then he also has those songs that has a lot of power and bring him a lot of attention  :) 

Help the Millionaires raise money!

The Millionaires (Melissa and Allison Green) need help raising money for their new album! They tweeted out  that they will need to raise $10,000 and will be giving away prizes out depending on how much you donate. :) The Millionaires need to reach their goal of $10,000 by September 16th, 2011 or it will not be funded! :( I'm hoping that I can donate $75 to them because having your name in their album booklet would be AMAZING. I most definitely be donating to the Millionaires because I'm a huge fan of the Millionaires. I've been a big fan of their music since they first started out on Myspace. 13 of their songs are on my "Top 40 Most Played" list.

Jack's Mannequin's release "Amy, I" snippet

Above, Jack's Mannequin just released a little snippet of their new song "Amy, I" from their upcoming album "People and Things"(due out October 4th, 2011). From this 15 second snippet, I can tell that this album is going to be a little different from his "In Transit" record. Whenever I listen to songs such as "Dark Blue" or "The Mixed Tape" from his album "In Transit", I feel like I'm listening to it for the first time again because there is so much power in that album.

I don't know why but something about Jack's Mannequin doesn't click with my music as much as it used to. His music has changed a little bit which has caused me to drift away from it so I'm excited to see what he has in store with his new album "People and Things". 

The Cab's upcoming album "Symphony Soldier" + Tour

The Cab will release their Sophomore album "Symphony Soldier" on August 23rd, 2011. Their track list consists of 12 songs.They have recently released their first single "Bad" off of their upcoming album on July 11th, 2011. Many of The Cab's good friends have heard some songs on "Symphony Soldier" and by looking at the @replys on Twitter back to Alexander (Vocals) it seems that they love their new tracks! The more you see good responses the more you want to hear the album!

My Input:
I'm very excited for their album to come out since their single "Bad" was pure genius. So genius that my mom blasts it in the car when it's playing. Some of their songs on their debut album weren't all that good so I hope that they chose the songs carefully and make sure that it all doesn't sound the same.

Stereo Skyline's New Single

On August 11th, 2011 Stereo Skyline released their new single "Kiss Me In The Morning" which is now streaming on their PureVolume page or you can download it from iTunes for $.99. Even though Brian Maddox and Clayton Johnson decided to leave Stereo Skyline, Kevin (Vocalist) and Rob (Guitarist) are still doing great with keeping Stereo Skyline the same!

My Input
I've been a very big fan of Stereo Skyline since their EP came out in 2007 and I'm glad that they haven't changed a thing with their music. "Kiss Me In The Morning" is a hit! The sound of this song is very upbeat and it fits very well with the previous album "Stuck On Repeat". I personally love this single. Stereo Skyline is so unique that it's hard to dislike them :)

Plain White T's "Wonder of the Younger" Tour

This upcoming Fall the Plain White T's are going on tour to a city near you and being supported by bands such as The Summer Set, The Downtown Fiction and Allison Park. As of August 9th, 2011 the Plain White T's have announced their official tour dates! After the album "Wonder of the Younger" came out on December 7th, 2010 many Plain White T's fans waited for them to go on tour and soon after they released their album they started their new tour in the United States called "Wonders of the Younger"tour in January 2011. Does that tour name sound familiar to this tour name? Indeed it does! This upcoming tour that many people are anticipating for is round two of the "Wonders of the Younger" tour!
